Why did entire tribes of nephilim giants (Rapha) suddenly spring up after the flood? The very presence of giants in the Bible should make us take a second look at  what we refer to mythology, and a closer look at what we call history. Archaeology is rife with evidence that points to the reality of giants. According to scripture, there was a  concentration of Giants within the ancient borders of Israel, that had to be  dealt with before they could possess the  land. There are many that believe that people become angels after death, but that's not exactly a Biblical belief. Because of this, the issue is usually not addressed and people continue believe that angels are the spirits of dead people. While the Bible is unclear about exactly what angels are, here is what we learn in the Old Testament: “For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.” – Psalm 8:5 According to the Old Testament, while still in the flesh, people are just a little lower than the angels. This is an interesting observation that I made while I was writing, Beyond Flesh and Blood: The Ultimate Guide To Angels and Demons.
