MSNBC seems to be spreading lies about what some Christians really believe. This is my rebuttal to the MSNBC article “If intelligent extraterrestrials exist, what about God?” You can read their original article at the following website (Thanks Kyle for sharing the link):
There are many assumptions made in the article and the media’s refusal to talk to any Christians that are actually researching what is going on, is evidence that they are more interested in attacking and trying to discredit what we ACTUALLY believe vs. trying to understand what we ACTUALLY believe.
“Experts say encountering E.T. would pose religious dilemmas, especially for Christians” – MSNBC
Let me start by saying that these so called “experts” don’t know anything about what is going on, nor can they speak for Christianity in general. They perform guesswork that is equivalent to a modern day psychic cold reading. They completely ignore the actual Bible and they completely ignore those Christians that have an alternative view of what is going on with the E.T. scenario. The only Christians that are going to have a problem are those that have been ignoring the research done by many Christian researchers, including myself.
“Christians, in particular, might take the news hardest, because the Christian belief system does not easily allow for other intelligent beings in the universe, Christian thinkers said at the 100 Year Starship Symposium, a meeting sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to discuss issues surrounding traveling to other stars.” – MSNBC
This is a lie, as many of you reading this already know. The Bible does allow for other intelligent beings in the universe. The Bible is 100% clear that angels, fallen angels, and demons exist and are supremely intelligent. We know the following about angels based on what the Bible says:
- Angels have a military
- They engage in combat
- They have flying vehicles
- They can communicate long distances
- Much more…
As we can see, if these so called “experts” bothered to even pick up a Bible, they would know that the Bible has no problem with intelligent beings existing in the universe. The true problem is what the media claims these beings actually are.

The Mainstream Media Agenda
The media wants to push a naturalistic explanation of what has already been defined as supernatural all throughout history. They want to ignore the actual information in favor of fabricated nonsense. There is NO EVIDENCE that these so called “E.T.” originate from another planet. In the article, they featured the following caption:
“In 1973, a French singer, journalist and race car driver named Claude Vorilhon said he was abducted by aliens and was told the secrets of the universe. Vorilhon renamed himself “Rael” and began teaching that humans were created by aliens who were mistakenly seen as gods by our primitive forebears. If the existence of intelligent aliens becomes indisputable, experts say that would pose a philosophical challenge for at least some of Earth’s religions.” – MSNBC
The lie I want to focus on here is that people mistook these “aliens” as gods. If MSN had taken the time to do some actual research, they would have found the following video, released by the Raeliens, in which they clearly say that they told us they were gods, then later say we mistook them for gods. Which is it? I suggest both the Raeliens and MSN get their story straight.
“It seems to be only a problem of Christianity,” – Waltemathe
WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! I’m a Christian and I don’t have a problem with it at all. I’ve read the Bible, I’ve read the mythologies, and I’ve read the modern day abduction stories and they all point to something supernatural and something EVIL. Does the media really think that everyone is going to ignore all the stories of kidnapping, rape, and enslavement ranging from Babylon to Modern Day? People can call these “aliens” anything they want, but it won’t change what they really are.
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
