8 Ways Ancient Aliens Confuses Bible Believing Christians

8 Ways Ancient Aliens Confuses Bible Believing Christians

Aliens & UFOs In The Bible
How does watching Ancient Aliens cause confusion for many Christians that aren’t well grounded in scripture? Very easily. That’s how. What many people seem not to understand is that Ancient Aliens takes many things out of context in an attempt to force scripture and other ancient texts to fit the Ancient Astronaut Theory. Today’s questions and comments come from a reader that seems to have fallen for this deception, or at the very minimum has been enticed by their deceptive presentation of the information. Reader Questions and Comments “I’m a Christian and I believe in the trinity. Many people forget that the Bible is a collection of writings by man much was handed down by word of mouth. The old testament is a history of faith and as stated in the Ancient Al

Do People Become Angels After Death?

Angels & Demons
There are many that believe that people become angels after death, but that's not exactly a Biblical belief. Because of this, the issue is usually not addressed and people continue believe that angels are the spirits of dead people. While the Bible is unclear about exactly what angels are, here is what we learn in the Old Testament: “For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.” – Psalm 8:5 According to the Old Testament, while still in the flesh, people are just a little lower than the angels. The reason we know that this is true is because of a reference that the writer of Hebrews makes about Jesus. “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glor

When Were Angels Created According To The Bible?

Angels & Demons
This is an interesting observation that I made while I was writing, Beyond Flesh and Blood: The Ultimate Guide To Angels and Demons. For those of you that haven’t read it, the following POSSIBILITY was covered in one section of the book. I could be wrong, but thought it might be worthy of further study. “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” – Daniel 10:13 The section in bold is the specific area of interest we are going to focus on. It was during my research into the different ranks of angels that I first really paid attention to the phrase. I decided to use the Strong’s to look up the word translated as “chief”, and here is wha

Does The Bible Contain A Warning About Alien Contact?

Aliens & UFOs In The Bible
The Bible doesn’t claim that we are alone in the universe. In fact, it claims the exact opposite, and there is one verse that seems to predict alien contact in the last days, but I’ll come back to that later. Before we move on, I want to remind you that if the Church doesn’t look into these things and provide sensible answers to those with questions, the world is ready to embrace them with another doctrine. If you know someone that is seeking answers to questions like the above, please share this article with them via Facebook, Twitter, email, etc. Now let’s get back to the topic at hand. Over 80,000,000 Americans believe in UFOs, according to a Kelton Research survey commissioned by National Geographic. That number represents 36% of the American population. What’

Bible Q&A
Have you ever read something that just made you wonder where people come up with this stuff? Well, today’s question is less of a question and more of a statement that I want to respond to because it seems like people are trying to push a politically correct version of God, that is not supported by scripture. What Does Androgynous Mean? As many of you know, its important to have a clear understanding of all the terms we’re going to be using, so I like to go ahead and grab those for you so you don’t have to stop and look them up yourself. Dictionary.com defines androgynous in the following ways: Being both male and female; hermaphroditic. Having both masculine and feminine characteristics. Having an ambiguous sexual identity. Neither clearly masculine

Top 10 Beliefs About Angels Not Actually Found In The Bible

Angels & Demons
How much do you really know about angels, and how much of what you think you know is actually found in the Bible? The reason angels are so interesting is because the Bible doesn’t tell us everything about them. They are mysterious supernatural beings that show up all over scripture, and yet, we have no idea  what they do when they aren’t being seen by humans. This post is a follow up to 21 Things Your Pastor Won’t Teach You About Angels. This list is made up of 10 things you’ve probably been told about angels, but they’re not actually found in the Bible. If you have a few extra minutes, here is a podcast that I did to answer quite a few questions that I’ve received about angels here on my website. 1. Fallen Angels Are Demons  – This is one of my favori

21 Things Your Pastor Won’t Teach You About Angels

Angels & Demons
Believe it or not, there are just some things that most pastors won't teach in church because of their controversial nature. Here's a list of 21 things that your pastor won't teach you about angels: 1. Angels Were Called Sons of God In The Old Testament “Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” – Job 38:4-7 2. Angels Are Described As Having A Gender “Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the begin

Aliens and UFOs In The Bible – Is Your Church Ignoring The Elephant In The Room?

Aliens & UFOs In The Bible
The longer I’m in the ministry of teaching about the supernatural, the more people tell me that their church just refuses to touch the subject of UFOs and alien abduction. That may not seem like much of a problem to most Christians, but what about those Christians seeking legitimate answers? The most common questions that I’ve received from Christians are the following: Are aliens/UFOs real? Are aliens/UFOs demonic? What does the Bible say about aliens/UFOs? How do I stop alien visitations? What if I think I have been/am being abducted? Where are these people supposed to turn when they can’t discuss the strange lights in the sky, missing time, strange dreams, or supernatural encounters, with their pastor? The only place they can turn is to the secula

Race Relations In The Bible: Noah & Sons – Part 2

Race In The Bible
What race was Noah? Did all races really come from Shem, Ham, and Japheth? What was the curse of Ham all about? These are just some of the questions we are going to attempt to answer in this study. If God really flooded the earth, how is it possible that all races currently on earth came from one man? As if the story of Noah wasn’t already unbelievable, but we are also expected to accept that all of the races currently on earth are directly related to Noah. Let’s start with the most logical question: How Many People Made It Onto The Ark? According to scripture, only Noah and his wife, Shem and his wife, Ham and his wife, and Japheth and his wife made it onto the ark. That’s 8 people total. This is also confirmed elsewhere in the Bible: “Which sometime were disobed

Race In The Bible
Was everyone in the Bible white? Could Jesus have been black? Who was the Queen of Sheba? Was interracial marriage forbidden? These are some of the questions that we’ve been debating on Facebook lately, and it prompted me to really dig into the subject. Introduction To The Series This series is going to be an intense and scriptural look into race relations in the Bible. It’s not about saying any specific person is any specific race, but a good, honest look into the subject. Far too often people like to avoid the issue of race in scripture because it challenges preconceived notions and long held beliefs that may not be true.
