CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO THE DEBATE The Serpent Seed Debate is really only a debate if you refuse to acknowledge scripture and accept outside text as on equal standing with the Bible. I don't, and I present my argument for why I don't in the debate. Below you'll find my notes on some of the points I made, and some I didn't make during the debate. “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive…” – Ephesians 4:14 The Bible anticipates all arguments against it, and goes out of its way to make a case against false doctrine before it develops. It’s only when we step outside of the truth of the Bible that CONFUSION creeps its way
When I say the words “Intelligent Design“, the common reaction is to immediately associate it with Christianity, God, and the Bible. Maybe in the past, that sort of thinking would be correct, but not today. When the Discovery Institute originally took up the task of getting intelligent design added to school curriculum, it was for the purpose of getting science to acknowledge that parts of nature point to a creator (God). However, as time went by, another agenda crept into movement. The enemies of the Bible have put themselves in a win-win situation. On one side of the argument, evolution is being pushed as a truth to the entire world. On the other side of the argument are those that believe in Intelligent Design, but don’t let the phrase fool you. It’s not much more
Was Cain the son of Adam as stated in scripture, or was he the son of Satan as stated by the Targum of Pseudo Jonathan (False Jonathan)? Serpent Seed or Seedline theory is a growing belief among Christians, but is there any truth to the claims that Adam was not the actual father of Cain? Today’s study was inspired by a question that I received from a reader: “Minister Fortson, Have you or anyone ever noticed that in Gen 4 where it gives the lineage of Cain, that it NEVER says that any of them died, but in contrast, in Gen. 5 where it gives the lineage of Adam/Seth it states EVERY time that they DIED? Can you explain this?” – M. Rivers The Descendants of Cain Let’s start from the beginning of the chapter (Genesis 4:1) because that is where we are going to find the answe
I’m working on something big… and by big I mean potentially paradigm shifting when it comes to the way we study the Bible. For years I’ve tossed the around the idea of putting together the best study Bible ever. The main problems are the limitations of paper and the time cost of software that only works on PC, but not smartphones, tablets, or Macs. Now that I’ve solved that problem, here’s some info about the project The Awakening Study Bible Introduction The Awakening Study Bible (TASB) is the world’s first community created study Bible. Built using the WordPress platform, The Awakening Study Bible (TASB) is a free online study Bible that incorporates social media, audio, video, articles, real time conversations, and the latest research, into the King James Bible. Goliath is one of the most famous hybrids in world history, and if you don't believe me, look below; I have the poll to prove it. Unless you've been living under a rock your entire life, you've heard the story of David’s victory over the giant, but many of the details surrounding Goliath are left out of the Sunday School version. According to scripture, Goliath was one of four Philistine brothers that were born to a giant. Only two of his brothers are named, but the text tells us that there were four of them total (2 Samuel 21

Demons are one of the most controversial topics in the Bible and in modern medicine. There are many beliefs about demons, but most of them are built on myth, legend, and hearsay. The word demon is used as an all encompassing definition that applies to all of the following terms: Evil Spirit Unclean Spirit In this study, we're going to take an in depth look at the origin of demons according to the Bible. The first place in the Bible that we encounter the Shed is in reference to Israel worshiping them. “They sacrificed unto devils (Shed), not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.” – Deuteronomy 32:17 T
