The 4 Hour Bible: Learn The Entire Bible In 4 Hours or Less

Over the last year or so, I’ve been hard at work creating a Bible study series that could take someone from knowing nothing about the Bible, to a very advanced knowledge of the Bible in a series of 4 hour studies. The first draft of the series was way too cluttered, took way more than 4 hours to get through, and ended up being way too technical for a beginner.

The 4 Hour Bible: Genesis 1 - Beginner

After scrapping the entire idea, I let it sit on the shelf for a few months before deciding to start over from scratch. The new concept started with a complete redesign of the cover. The original cover was terrible to say the least. Unfortunately, I deleted the one copy of the original cover before I decided to write this. The cover that you see to the left was the cover I decided to go with.

The next step I took was to break the information up into three different learning levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each book is meant to add to what was already learned at the previous level. For example, many of you that read this blog would probably be wise to skip directly to the Advanced level, because you are likely to already know the information in the Beginner and Intermediate levels. After dividing the series into different levels, it then became a matter of what information would be placed in which book.

Genesis- Intermediate

One of my main goals with this series was to stick to the text in the Bible, and avoid mentioning any theories, such as the ones discussed on this site. The goal of this series is to help believers build a solid, Biblical, foundation, free and clear of any other influences. Once that foundation is established, then they will know how to rightly divide the word of truth.

With that goal established, I created a format for the series so that no matter where you decide to start, the layout will be the same, and the only difference will be the information contained within the book. It was also around this time that I realized that a series of books with the same color just wasn’t what I wanted, so I color coded each level.

  • Beginner = Red
  • Intermediate = Blue
  • Advanced = Purple
  • Student = Gold

A Sudden Change of Plans

The 4 Hour Bible: Genesis - AdvancedAs the series began to take shape, I decided to do a couple of things that no publisher would ever allow me to do in a million years. On top of pricing each book in the series at just $4.95, I’m also donating a portion of every sale to aid in cancer research. We actually meet next week so that they can view the proof copies and finalize everything to make it official. After the Createspace takes their cut, Amazon takes their cut, and my promised donation, only about 10% of that $4.95 comes to me.

Those of you that have expressed in an interest in Bible study material will find this to be a bit different from my previous published works. I intentionally want to reach a broader audience with The 4 Hour Bible study series. You will not find any references to the Gap Theory, Nephilim, UFOs, or anything of the sort. You will only find solid, verifiable, Biblical, Doctrine. I will still cover those topics here on this site though, so don’t think I’m jumping ship.

What Does The Future Hold?

The 4 Hour Bible: Genesis - AdvancedOver the last 4 years, many of you have seen this site grow, and now you are seeing it transition into something way bigger than I ever imagined. I stepped on the ministry train and jumped right into the supernatural, spiritual warfare, apologetics, etc., but my passion is the Bible. I love studying and teaching the word, and I honestly don’t want to be here 10 years from now trying to figure out how to give you old wine in a new bottle.

With that said, you’ll start seeing more content on this site that is outside of the normal supernatural topics that I usually discuss. So far, I’ve had positive feedback on Soul Food Sundays. For those of you that haven’t had the chance to check those out, it is the weekly break from the normal content on this site. It is meant to inspire, encourage, and just uplift someone that might be down. For those of you craving the supernatural posts, they aren’t going away. However, for every 3 supernatural posts I write, I’ll be adding at least 1 post on other topics in the Bible. In other words, this site will be 25% traditional topics and 75% non traditional topics. I know for some of you that’s a deal breaker, so I won’t be offended if you choose to unsubscribe, but for those that choose to stick around during this transition period, thanks.

Feel free to chime in and share your thoughts on anything I said above.

They work for anybody. I wrote them at 3 different learning levels, irrespective of age. They will be out next month.

We homeschool. Do you think these would work for middle school aged kids?

Not at all. I’m sure it would help others, as well.

Thanks for writing. Do you mind if I post this as a topic on the site? It might help everyone if I state it publicly. The series uses the KJV, but I’m not a KJV only person.

I definitely want to get this course. I’ve been looking around on your site to see which Bible you recommend for study. I have been using an NIV Study Bible for years. But, in a forum discussion I was participating in (on another site), someone wrote, “why don’t you just admit that you are too stupid or lazy to read Scripture in the original languages”.

It made me wonder if a everyone is supposed to study those ancient languages. That probably won’t happen–for me, anyway.

Also, someone sent me a link to information about the “KJV only” position. Now I’m completely confused about what’s a good study Bible for an average layperson like me.

I hope you give us some guidance on this.
