After learning of the President’s absolutely absurd plan to reinstate the 1993 Assault Weapons Ban, I figured that a good majority of the American public probably don’t even know what an assault weapon is. Rather than attempt to full explain it, here is a link to what an assault weapon is.
The President
The President is one of the most informed people on the planet, and its hard to watch the leader of our country stand on TV and tell lies and half truths to the people that voted for him (I didn’t vote for him). The President has to give the APPEARANCE of actually doing something to solve the problem, which in reality isn’t really the problem. Why aren’t the American public and the media asking the following questions:
- If Connecticut already has an assault weapon ban, how did the school shooting happen if they actually work?
- How did the mother LEGALLY own an assault weapon in a state that has an assault weapon ban in place?
- Why isn’t the media making a big deal about the shooter being on Fanapt, a drug that had been previously removed from the shelves?
- Why do mass shootings always seem to happen in “Gun Free Zones?”
Prescription drugs usually play a part in these mass shootings, but they are rarely mentioned as part of the problem. If I know it, then I’m 1000% sure the President knows it as well. According to Drugs.com the psychiatric side effects of Fanapt are:
“Psychiatric side effects including restlessness, aggression, and delusion have been reported frequently. Hostility, decreased libido, paranoia, anorgasmia, confusional state, mania, catatonia, mood swings, panic attack, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bulimia nervosa, delirium, polydipsia psychogenic, impulse-control disorder, and major depression have been reported infrequently.”
The reason this isn’t being reported is because it was approved by Obama’s personally appointed head of the FDA, Michael Taylor. He is the head of Mansanto, the company that grows and genetically modifies most of the food we eat, and use to make biological weapons for the military.
The Media
The media has been on a lying streak, attempting to spread miss-education about what a semi automatic weapon really does. A semi automatic weapon fires one bullet with each pull of the trigger. It can ONLY fire as fast as you can move your finger back and forth against a weighted trigger. However, the media refers to them as “high speed killing machines” in order to give the uninformed majority the impression that the guns being used are capable of fully automatic fire. It is a blatantly false misrepresentation of the facts.
The biggest dunce of them all is Piers Morgan. Since Sandy Hook, he has been using the death of children to spread his anti gun ignorance to anyone that will listen. He’s not even from America and yet wants to tell us about our 2nd Amendment. Maybe someone should remind him that the ENTIRE reason the 2nd Amendment was needed in the first place was because the first Americans had to fight with Morgan’s countrymen, the British. If it wasn’t for his country being the oppressive regime it has always been, there would be no America.
The NRA
As much as I’d like to say that the NRA is helping, they aren’t doing much for gun owner perception. Part of the reason is that they are not communicating well when it comes to what they are for or against. Sometimes it seems like they don’t want the government requiring background checks on all gun sales, and then at other times it seems as if they are clearly taking the position that they support requiring background checks on all firearm sales. Whatever their position is, they need to get it together, and fast.
The Assault Weapons Hoax
The only honest change in the Assault Weapons Ban is the reduction of magazine size to no more than ten rounds. The rest is just a well crafted hoax to appease the uninformed masses. Lets talk some facts. Most people are more concerned about a gun LOOKING scary than the actual function of the gun. For example, this is what the AK47 looks like WITHOUT the ban in place:

Under the previous Assault Weapon ban, manufacturers were forced to change the APPEARANCE of the gun. They didn’t have to change the round of the gun, they didn’t have to change the function of the gun. They only had to change what it looked like to the following:
Post Ban Mak90
As you can clearly see, they look almost exactly the same, but the Mak90 is 100% compliant with the Assault Weapon Ban and 100% legal to purchase during said ban. I know because it was the first gun I purchased when I turned 18. Both guns use the same magazines and fire the same bullet shown below:
Not matter what you call it or how you try to justify it, changing the appearance of a gun does not make it any less dangerous than it was before.
The Conclusion
The changes being made to the guns are a waste of taxpayer time, money, and intelligence. Its also a waste of the manufacturer’s time, money, and intelligence. The fact is that the President is using the death of children to push a nonsense political agenda, which seems to be supported ONLY by people that insist on remaining ignorant and absolutely refuse to inform themselves.
If one uninformed person was to read this page, watch all the videos featured, and reference all of the links provided, they would soon see the LIES being told to them by both the media and the President.
Bonus Material
The follow quotes were taken from the World Health Organization Europe website. People talk about how low gun crime is in Europe because they have banned guns, but they don’t talk about the fact that their violent crime rate is higher than the U.S.
“Violence claims the lives of 40 young people every day in the WHO European Region – over 15 000 each year – according to new data from WHO; 4 out of 10 of these homicides are perpetrated with knives.”
And another
“This is only the tip of the iceberg, as estimates suggest that for every young person who dies, 20 more are admitted to hospital.”
Lets do the math on this. 20 victims admitted to the hospital for every 1 person killed. 15,000 deaths x 20 hospitalized = 300,000 + 15,000 dead = 315,000 victims of violent crimes in Europe per year according to WHO. That’s roughly 30 times higher than those committed by guns in the U.S.

So, gun control is a debate in our country that makes no sense unless you broaden the ban or acceptance to include all instruments of death.,.
