Today must be the day of crazy. In Beijing, China, a man went into an elementary school with a knife and slashed 22 children. You can read the story at the following link:
In addition to the crazy story above, another crazy person shot and killed 18 kids and 9 adults at an elementary school with a .223 caliber rifle. For those that don’t know, that is an AR15. You can read the story at the following link.
My Two Cents
I’m sure the conspiracy crowd is going to be claiming that the shooting was staged, like they do every time there is a mass shooting. The fact is that some people are just “off” and want to do harm to other people. I personally think we should arm all teachers in all schools so this type of thing either doesn’t happen or happens a lot less often.
With that said, why aren’t we hearing about the mass knifing? It could be just because its in China and Americans don’t actually care what’s going on around the world, or it could be because the “gun control” advocates would have to explain why we shouldn’t have more knife control laws. Either way, these are two tragedies and we should all pray for the families of those involved.

I actually did hear about the China incident on the Drudge Report, but what has been really swept under the rug recently are the other China school incidents that rival what was done here, and to my knowlege the media here completely dismissed them.
