Many of you have read some of the inserts that I’ve been posting about my upcoming book, Beyond Flesh and Blood. I’m actually several weeks away from completing the first draft, and after that it goes into editing. I’m pushing for a November – December release date, but I can’t guarantee it and here is why.

The subjects dealt with in this book are very spiritually exhausting and can be downright dangerous for the wrong person that may not be ready to learn these things. I’m no stranger to the subjects of angelology and demonology and the effect that it can have on people spiritually, which is why I opted to take a break from working on the book for the last week and a half just to clear my mind and spirit. I’ve also been doing a lot of praying as well.

For those of you that plan to get the book when it is released, I warn you not to rush through it. I cover a lot of things that you’ve probably never seen in a book on spiritual warfare because this book is much more than just a book about spiritual warfare. Every book I’ve written has a real purpose to it, and I don’t just write books for the sake of saying I wrote them.

Religion and Relationship: This book was written specifically for those people that don’t think they are good enough to serve God and somehow have lost hope.
As The Days of Noah Were: I wrote this to get people to look at more of the story than just the Nephilim aspect (Genesis 6) and for those people that have never heard the real story of Noah’s flood.
Serpent Seed: Debunked: I wrote this because many people are being deceived by this dangerous doctrine. It only leads to racism and hatred of actual Jews. It’s my opinion but I believe the entire theory was created by Satan as a subtle way of leading Christians into anti-semetism.

Likewise, Beyond Flesh and Blood, also has a purpose. When many people think of spiritual warfare, they usually have an invisible war in mind. They possibly even imagine it as something that is only going on when they are having direct experience (I use to), but the war is always going on. We are constantly dealing with the war on many levels, which is why the book is called, Beyond Flesh and Blood. As Christians, we deal with the following:

False Doctrines within the church.
False Doctrines from outside the church.
A worldwide agenda against Christianity.
The Satanic agenda to corrupt all flesh through hybridization, transhumanism, and DNA manipulation.
The blood sacrifice known as abortion.
A growing wordly obsession with UFOs, Aliens, and communicating with spirits.

I could go on and on, but all of these have ties to spiritual warfare. False doctrines are aimed at deceiving people spiritually and the rest of the points are spiritual attacks that have crossed over into the physical realm, just as they did in the days of Noah. Before you read even a single page of my new book, it is important to understand that you need to pray CONSTANTLY. I can’t stress that point enough. I’ll show you an example of spiritual warfare manifesting into the spiritual realm as a result of prayer.

“Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” – Acts 12:5

Peter was put in prison for preaching Christ, but as the above indicates, people were praying for him without ceasing, which cause the following event to happen, which was a manifestation of the spiritual realm directly interacting and changing the outcome in the physical realm.

“And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.” – Acts 12:7

The appeared to Peter and because of what was going on, Peter thought it was a dream. The following events happened when the angel arrived as a result of prayer:

A bright light shined in the room (Acts 12:7)
He physically “smote” Peter on his side (Acts 12:7)
The chains fell off Peter’s hands (Acts 12:7)
The guards experienced “sleep paralysis” (Acts 12:10)
The iron gate opened on it’s own (Acts 12:10)

Let’s put this in perspective: An entity (angel) suddenly appears in the room, a bright lights shines in the cell, Peter gets touched by a spiritual being, the guards experience sleep paralysis, the gate moves by itself, and the entity disappears. From the perspective of an outside observer, it has all of the elements of an “alien abduction” and a “haunting”. Keep in mind that this was an experience with one of the GOOD GUYS. Just imagine how terrifying that experience would be with one of the BAD GUYS. That’s exactly what my new book addresses. Stories like these and many others. So again, before you read a single page of my new book, make sure you are prayed up.

Get Your Christian Book Published – Free Resource Guide

Today I’m going off the beaten path in order to answer a question that I actually get quite a lot (surprisingly) from aspiring authors and aspiring Christian documentary filmmakers that read this blog. As many of you know, I’ve published three books, a double disc CD, and am currently working on a couple of video projects, so I have some experience in this arena.

I’ve talked to several people that have shelled out thousands of dollars to independent publishers, both Christian and non-Christian in order to have their books, CDs, or DVDs produced. The simple fact is, it DOES NOT cost anywhere near what some of these guys are charging or what some people are paying. It has cost me a total of $129.00 (ONE HUNDRED TWENTY NINE DOLLARS) to publish all three books and $0.00 to publish my CD. Let me clarify, all three books together cost me a grand total of $129. That $117 of that total was to get distribution through Barnes and Noble, Biggerbooks.com, Baker & Taylor, Ingram, and about 20 other websites that carry my books. My Amazon distribution was 100% free.

The Secret To Getting Published

I’m going to let you in on a secret that very few of your favorite authors are even aware of. Amazon prints, packages, and ships all of my books in exchange for a hefty 45% cut of the profits if it sells on their site. What many people don’t know is that Amazon owns a Print On Demand publishing company called Createspace.

Createspace provides you with your own eStore and only takes a 15% cut of the profit for printing, packaging, and shipping your products, which equals an 85% royalty for publishers. The only problem is Createspace is not as well known as Amazon and gets nowhere near the same amount of visitors and so I sell vastly more books through Amazon.

How Much Does It Cost?

Signing up on Createspace is free. Recently they added the option to skip the proofing process (not recommended) in which they send you a printed copy of your book, CD, or DVD for review before making it available for publishing. YOU DON’T HAVE TO SPEND A DIME TO BECOME A PUBLISHED AUTHOR!!!

If you’re asking why I spent $129.00, it was for the GUARANTEED distribution through Barnes and Noble and the 20 or so other online retailers that carry my books. Createspace offers a $39.00 per book upgrade that gets you listed with Ingram, Baker & Taylor, and Barnes and Noble in about six weeks (less in most cases). To go through the traditional process takes several months to a year. So for the $39.00 I spent, you can walk into any Barnes and Noble in the country and ask them to order my book for you. The rest of the money was spent on ordering proof copies.

The Positives About Createspace

The biggest positive is that I don’t have to worry about shipping or returns. Createspace handles all of that for me and just pays me at the end of the month. I don’t have to have any printed stock on hand in order to make a sale because Createspace prints them as they are ordered. That means if a retailer wants 100 copies, they will get 100 copies without waiting on me.

Their payout threshold is extremely low at $20.00. If you can’t sell $20.00 worth of products per month, I strongly encourage you to re-think your marketing and promotional efforts. That’s just from a business standpoint, but I’m serious.

The Negatives About Createspace

The negatives are that they don’t offer a hardcover option, you have to find your own editors, and cover designers. There are services that can do the editing for you, but they charge by the word, usually $0.05 – $0.10 per word, or $1.00 – $5.00 per page. I usually have people from church do the editing, but rushed the editing on As The Days of Noah Were, in order to have it ready for the conference, and it still didn’t make it on time. The upcoming Beyond Flesh and Blood won’t be rushed and therefore won’t have nearly as many mistakes.

I do all of my own cover design, so I don’t pay for that. If you can get that done yourself you’ll save a few bucks, but if not, you can find someone online for about $40 – $100 that will get it done professionally. You can also check the local college for graphic design students that need a few extra bucks.

If you are producing a CD, be prepared to wait 3 – 6 weeks to get your proof copy. While you can upload all the CD content online, the proof copy is free, therefore they take their sweet time getting it out to you. I actually waited about four weeks for my proof copy of, Is The Rapture In The Bible. The product was professional and shrink wrapped, which was a positive, but I would have preferred to pay the double disc charge to get my proof faster, but as of right now, it’s not an option.

I haven’t used their DVD service yet, but if it’s anything like their book publishing and CD printing quality, I will definitely be using them for all my video projects as well.

What About LuLu?

Not sure how to say this nicely, but DON’T EVER USE LULU unless you absolutely want a hardcover version of your book. There is absolutely no reason to ever publish through LuLu. Their prices are extremely high compared to Createspace and their upgrade package is laughable in comparison. I’ll give you an example using the printing cost of my book, As The Days of Noah Were:

Createspace: $4.85 per book
LuLu: $10.90 per book

That’s more than double what Createspace charges me. As far as the upgrade, which includes distribution through Barnes and Noble:

Createspace: $39.00 per book
LuLu: $75.00 per book

As you can see there are huge price differences especially if you want to order your books for conferences or speaking engagements. Ordering just 100 books will set you back about $600 more with LuLu than with Createspace.

Let me also make it clear that there is nothing wrong with ordering books from authors published by LuLu. My point is that it’s just not cost effective to publish a book through them. However, if you don’t mind paying double the price for the same service, by all means be my guest.

In Conclusion

If you have been considering publishing a book, producing a CD, or putting out a DVD, you should check out Createspace. I’ve been with them since 2009 and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. Customer service is beyond excellent. I put in a request online for them to call me, which was super fast and eliminated listening to all the phone options. A HUMAN got back to me in less than ten minutes. I just wanted to ask a few questions about publishing a double disc CD. I’ve never had a problem with royalty payments being on time, since they are done via direct deposit.

If you are serious about publishing any kind of information product, you should definitely use Createspace to do it. You will not be disappointed. I hope that answers that question for everyone that has been asking and those that want to know but didn’t ask.

Somatic Parahumans – Beyond Flesh and Blood Sneak Preview

Here is a sneak preview from, Beyond Flesh and Blood, a book that I’m currently working on, which should be completed around November. This is a small section that addresses the subject of Somatic Parahumans and how they tie into the corruption of all flesh, just like it was in the days of Noah. Because this is a sneak preview, please be aware the information may be added or removed in the final version.

The Modern Pursuit of Hybrids

In the book of Ecclesiastes, we are told over and over again that there is nothing new under the sun. In our current day and age we are finding this to be a very true statement. We now know that it is possible to create an animal/human hybrid and researchers have been doing so for a while. The debate has moved from “can we” to “should we?” Many religious organizations are against the creation of hybrids because they believe it blurs the line of what it means to be human.

“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” – Matthew 24:37

The above verse was the entire premise for my book, As The Days of Noah Were: The Sons of God and The Coming Apocalypse. The majority of the hybrid research in the book revolved around the Nephilim, which is why this chapter puts very little emphasis on the nephilim. This time around the focus is on the animal/human hybrids that marked the pages of mythology and are once again making headlines in newspapers and on the Internet. These hybrid creatures, along with the Nephilim, were part of the reason that God flooded the earth. One of the modern terms used to describe these creatures is parahuman. There are two types of parahumans: germ-line parahumans and somatic parahumans.

“Another key difference is that a germ-line parahuman would have to be modified before birth, while a somatic parahuman could be an adult human who chooses to be modified.”

The ability to create somatic parahumans should be very disturbing to anyone that follows Bible prophecy. Many people discount the End Time Hybrid Hypothesis because they do not see how there would be enough time to contaminate animals and humanity to the point that it was during the time of Noah. This corruption of all flesh could easily be achieved very quickly through the distribution of vaccines or a simple visit to the doctor’s office. Jesus gave us a very strange warning during the Olivet Discourse that many of the top researchers believe refers to nuclear weapons, but as we are starting to see, that may not be the case:

“And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” – Matthew 24:22

It is possible that we are once again looking at the coming corruption of all flesh, just as it was during the days of Noah. The major difference between our time and the time of Noah, is that many believe the events during Noah’s time were involuntary. In our age of media and pop culture, people will line up to receive eagle like eye sight, bear like strength, or many other potential “enhancements” that scientists can think up. This time around, the corruption of all flesh may be voluntary, depending on how the marketing package is put together.

Cow Human Hybrids and The Return of The Omega Hour

Earlier this week someone shared an interesting BBC video with me and I figured I’d share it with all of my readers. One of the subjects covered in the video is a cow/human hybrid. You are probably more familiar with this same creature known in Greek “mythology” as a Minotaur. This is a subject I talk about extensively in my book, As The Days of Noah Were.

If this is knew subject matter for you, this is directly related to Matthew 24:37. Jesus said that the end of the age would be like the days of Noah. The major factor during the days of Noah was the corruption of all flesh. Not some but all.

“And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.” – Genesis 6:12

If you don’t know what the Bible defines as flesh, please see 1 Corinthians 15 for a complete list. We are quickly heading toward what Jesus warned us about in the Olivet Discourse. It’s time to get serious about spreading the message of Salvation through Jesus Christ.

Prophecy Expert 1.0 BETA – Next Level Bible Study

Over the last week I’ve been designing a piece of software that should speed up your research and Bible study by as much as 80%. The current version of Prophecy Expert is 1.0. There is a major update that I will be making to the software in several weeks which will end the BETA version and be released as 2.0. Once version 2.0 is released, you will have to download the new version, which will automatically update itself from that point on.

Major Website Changes

Over the weekend I figured I’d go ahead and add a few additional features to the website that I thought my readers may find useful. Here is a list of the new features currently on the site:

Language Translator: Minister Fortson.com is now available in 53 languages. This has been up for several weeks, but I wanted to test it to make sure it worked before making it permanent. If English isn’t your first language or you know someone that doesn’t speak English but would enjoy the site, you can share it with them. All you have to do is click the “translate” link at the top of each post and it will be translated into the language of your choosing. You can translate user comments as well.

Top 5 Rated Articles: On the right sidebar you should see the Top 5 Rated Articles and how many votes they have. If you read an article that you like, please be sure to rate it. If you don’t like an article you read, please be sure to rate it. Your ratings will help new visitors find the best information on the website. Your input is important and will determine which articles get the most exposure on the home page.

Site Cache: This is more of a technical upgrade, but after you visit the site, it should load a lot faster every time after that. Expect several more changes in the near future which should give you a faster experience.

Social Sharing: An oldie but goodie. The previous version of this feature stopped working so I got rid of it. However, the problem was fixed so I brought it back. You should see it floating on the left hand side of your webpage. Just click any of your favorite social network icons and share any post you like instantly. Sharing is highly encouraged, especially sharing your favorite articles.

Links On Comments: If you have your own website or blog and you are a registered user, all you have to do is update your website information when you log in. Every time you post a comment on the site, it will display the latest article from your site along with your comment. Basically, you can promote on my site for free if you contribute meaningful comments to the posts. This new feature is just a special thank you to those that contribute to the site with comments.

Forum: Registered users can now use the forum by clicking the “forum” tab at the top of the site. Feel free to share news or post any topics you wish. Let’s get some discussions going. Messengers of God

I figured I’d let everyone see a very rough draft of the new spiritual warfare series that I’m working on, Beyond Flesh and Blood. This is a section from Chapter 6: The Abilities of Angels.

Chapter 6: The Abilities of Angels

As we previously learned, many people believe that this is the only function of an angel, but it is just the first of many. All through the Bible we see angels delivering messages to various people for different reasons. The following scriptures in the Bible depict angels delivering messages from God to mankind.

Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:15)
The birth of John the Baptist
The Birth of Jesus

The Bible is not the only text that depicts supernatural messengers that travel between the spiritual and physical realms. Perhaps one of the most famous of these extra Biblical messengers is the Greek god Hermes. Although Hermes is possibly the most famous, other cultures wrote of beings that were messengers similar to the angels:

Egypt: Anubis
Rome: Mercury
Indonesia: Raja Indainda
Etruscan: Turms
Hindu: Agni
Akkadian: Papsukkal
Chile: Grandpa Wenteyao
Mesopotamia: Zaqar

As we can clearly see, the concept of supernatural messengers is present in many different cultures. It is possible that it was not just the Hebrews that encountered angels, but in reality, many cultures had these encounters. However, their interpretation of what these angels were may have differed depending on the culture. This explanation may help us shed light on the beings the pagans referred to as the gods.
